Wired Conference System / Dialogue Conferencing

Digital Networked Conference Main Unit BR-DCU-CU1000-D

Model BR-DCU-CU1000-D

The central controller of the Bronx DIALOGUE wired conference chain. Built on the BRONX-LINK digital ring network, it carries up to 64 channels of lossless audio over a single CAT5e cable and expands to 5,200 discussion units, with date, time and count-down management, USB recording and an optional Dante output module.

Specifications as per the official Bronx BR-DCU-CU1000-D datasheet (2026, Rev. A). Specifications may change without prior notice.

The BR-DCU-CU1000-D is the heart of a Bronx digital conference system. Using BRONX-LINK ring-network technology, a single CAT5e cable carries up to 64 channels of lossless audio and system data between units, in a “Hand-in-Hand-Loop-Network” topology that keeps the system running as units are added, changed or fail. Each unit is automatically assigned a unique ID to avoid conflicts, hot-swap is supported with controller auto-recovery, and the system expands to as many as 5,200 discussion units — suited to boardrooms, ministries, courtrooms and broadcast halls.

Standalone settings need no PC software: set how many delegate units are active at once, choose a discussion mode (Open, Apply, Voice or Override) and run voting directly from the chairman unit.

01
BRONX-LINK Digital Ring Network

Full-digital signal transmission and processing across the whole conference chain.

02
64 Channels over One CAT5e

High-fidelity, lossless audio at 48 kHz sampling with 20 Hz – 20 kHz response.

03
Expandable to 5,200 Units

Scales from a small boardroom to a large hall without changing the architecture.

04
Hot-Swap & Auto-Recovery

Units get independent IDs automatically; any unit can be changed or can fail without stopping the system.

05
Four Discussion Modes

OPEN, APPLY (request then speak), VOICE (voice-activated) and OVERRIDE (first-in, first-out), with a 1 / 2 / 4 / 6 active-speaker limit.

06
Voting & Chairman Control

Approve / abstain / object voting; the chairman can close or mute all units and grant requests to speak.

07
USB Recording

Records with advanced noise cancellation for clearer capture.

08
Camera Auto-Tracking

RS485 / RS232 sends PELCO / VISCA commands to follow the active speaker.

09
Optional Dante Output

Interoperates with other Dante audio equipment.
